San Diego Military Summit Returns August 5, 2025 - Connecting Business & Military Communities for a Stronger Region

San Diego, CA — The North San Diego Business Chamber is proud to announce the 5th Annual San Diego Military Summit, taking place Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Liberty Station Conference Center. The full-day event is designed to bring together transitioning servicemembers, veterans, military families, employers, and community organizations for a day of collaboration, learning, and opportunity. 

With more than 500 attendees at last year’s event, the 2025 Summit is expected to draw an even larger audience eager to build meaningful connections between San Diego’s military and business sectors. 

The Summit will be opened by Chris Thorne, CEO of the North San Diego Business Chamber, alongside San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, with keynote addresses by Lt. General Ronald Bailey (Ret.), Senior VP of Industry Development at NECA, and Patrick J. Murphy, America’s first Iraq War veteran elected to Congress. 

Attendees can choose from 20 sessions across five tracks tailored to meet the needs of those who serve, those who support, and those looking to hire.

Topics will include transition planning, mental health, veteran hiring strategies, nonprofit collaboration, certifications, military spouse entrepreneurship, and more. 

In addition to panels and workshops, the event includes a professional headshot station, resume reviews, and access to an exhibitor showcase featuring veteran-ready employers and service providers.

• $10 for active-duty military, veterans, and family members 

• $75 for non-military attendees
