June VBC

Another amazing event is in the books, thanks to our partners at SDMAC and our gracious USCG hosts at the Viper House. Thank you to all those who volunteered their time to make this event possible and to everyone who attended to better our networking organization.

If you have photos or stories of VBC networking success, please share them on our social media through Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. The more the word gets out, the more opportunities will present themselves.

I hope that you will all continue to attend our future events and provide input and actionable feedback that can be used to make our organization stronger. As we continue with our first year of being classified as a 501(c)3 non-profit, we will continue to find new ways to provide value to our veteran community.

I'd also like to congratulate SDMAC on their efforts, which led to California finally joining the rest of the country in providing state tax relief for military retirement pay. Although the relief comes with limited reductions for those who qualify, it's a significant step forward.
